Last Friday we had the opportunity to go to the Lighthouse Christian Home Fundraiser. The Lighthouse is a group home for the developmentally delayed. Our family was honored to share a table with Rose Bench, who's son Danny lives at the home. We have a couple of friends that have children living there and were asked if we would donate some photographs for the silent auction. We donated two 11x14 photographs in 16x20 mattes, "Evening in the Park" and "Lakeshore Barn". "Evening in the Park" sold for $100 and "Evening in the Park" went for $50 ($40 list price each), so we were happy that the home was blessed by the donations. "Swingin on High" Big Band was playing live music with swing dance demonstrations, and people danced the night away, there was a dessert bar with various fruits, cheeses and desserts. Thank you to all that made the night a success.
